Passing information about you
Your information will only be passed in the following conditions:
- At your request.
- For example, if you wish to see another therapist and wish for us to work together. In this case, only specific information which you wish us to share will be passed.
- Or, if I am unavailable and you wish to see a locum homoeopath or recommended homoeopath.
- If you give consent for some or all of your information to be passed to a hospital or doctor if you are in a life or death situation or are critically ill. Similarly, if you are not in a position to make this decision, then please ensure that a family member or emergency contact has your approval and inform me.
- If the Court of Law demands my record.
- If I am asked to provide you with products that I cannot supply, a third party (such as a reputable homoeopathic pharmacy or health shop) will be passed your name and address only with your permission.
How long are your records kept
By law, homoeopaths are obliged to hold any information we have about you for seven years.
Is your information secure
I have taken the appropriate steps to make any information you pass to me safe and secure. Whilst, no system is infallible, my website developer/host and I have taken all reasonable measures to protect your identity and information. There is always a risk to personal information, be it on the internet, your wallet, your doctor's office, personnel files, etc. We have tried to mitigate these risks. If you have reservations about the internet, then I suggest that you print out the forms and post them by recorded delivery to me, although, this is no guarantee of complete security and confidentiality. Similarly, I can respond by letter at your request. By choosing the website or email option, you agree to my
